A.I.S.E. provides manufacturing companies with a set of pictograms for professional cleaning and hygiene products, which are designed to optimise the correct and efficient use of professional cleaning and care products across Europe.   

Cleaning and maintenance products are used in many different professional settings from factories to hospitals, both manually and using machinery. So clear instructions as to the correct products to use in each situation, and how to use them, are very important to ensure safety and maximum effectiveness. 

A.I.S.E. has developed pictograms to visually demonstrate what a product is used for and how it is intended to be applied. These are widely used throughout Europe, on labels and in training materials, and are widely appreciated in multi-lingual environments where language can often be a barrier to clear communication.  

The pictograms complement European legislation to harmonise the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. The pictograms are available to be used as intended by manufacturers and professional users whether or not they are a member of the A.I.S.E. network.
