A.I.S.E. hosts regular meetings for its members throughout the year on relevant topics. On an annual basis in June, members take part in the General Assembly and Members’ Forum, and an annual Cleaning & Hygiene Forum in December brings the membership together with external stakeholders.
A.I.S.E. regularly supports and speaks at conferences organised by our network of national associations throughout Europe. Across the globe, cleaning and detergents associations in different regions collaborate and exchange best practices though the International Networking of Cleaning Product Associations (INCPA). INCPA meetings take place alongside other annual meetings.
Throughout the year, A.I.S.E. also participates in external conferences and trade fairs both in Europe and beyond, to showcase the work of the detergents industry and engage with stakeholders. These public events are listed below.
American Cleaning Institute Convention
The American Cleaning Institute (ACI)
The ACI Convention and Annual Meeting is the global industry’s premiere event for business-to-business networking. This event is held each year Orlando, Florida at the end of January and brings together hundreds of cleaning product producers and their supply chain partners. Highlights include a keynote presentation, consumer panel, technology showcase and an issues panel discussing the latest hot button topics in the industry, along with several charity events and a President’s Reception. The event is for ACI member companies and associations in the global cleaning network.
CESIO World Surfactant Conference
CESIO is the European association representing producers of surfactants and intermediates. Every four years, the association organises the CESIO World Surfactant Congress and provides a unique opportunity for partners and contacts across the surfactants value chain to meet. Participants take part in sessions covering scientific, technical and economic aspects of surfactants and their industrial and consumer applications.

Services
This international cleaning trade fair hosted in Berlin every two years (on odd years 2023, 2025 etc) offers a complete market overview of products, systems and processes for all commercial cleaning technology. The focus of the industry show is on innovations and further technical developments in cleaning machines and equipment as well as cleaning, care and disinfection agents. CMS Berlin is supported by the A.I.S.E.’s German member association specialised in the professional sector, the IHO [Industrial Association Hygiene and Surface Protection for Industrial and Institutional Applications]
INCPA
The International Networking of Cleaning Product Associations (INCPA) is a platform for the exchange of information amongst cleaning product industry associations of the different regions of the world to foster collaboration and, when deemed appropriate, conduct external advocacy and communications. INCPA member organisations are committed to developing, manufacturing, distributing, and marketing innovative, sustainable and effective products that are safe for consumers and the environment. The network’s members meet annually or bi-annually at the ACI Convention or A.I.S.E. General Assembly.
Interclean Amsterdam
Interclean Amsterdam is the largest professional cleaning community in the world and an international business networking platform cleaning and hygiene manufacturers and professionals. Interclean Amsterdam takes place every two years (on even years 2022, 2024 etc.) and in addition to events on all sectors of professional cleaning, hosts the Cleaning Hygiene Forum, a dedicated event on environmental hygiene and disinfection in the healthcare sector.
Sepawa Congress
The SEPAWA Congress takes place annually in Berlin and is a significant date in the calendar for the detergents/cleansers, cosmetics and fragrance industries in Europe. The event programme cover more than 150 interesting and diversified lectures and presentations, with international experts sharing their latest research findings and innovative developments. SEPAWA includes over 300 exhibitors as well a keynote address by a well-known personality from science, society, economy, politics or sports.
