This week, a delegation of A.I.S.E. members and staff (Nicole Vaini, Majlinda Cobaj, Julie Janssis and Alessandro D’Augusta Perna) attended the European Parliament’s May plenary session in Strasbourg.
The A.I.S.E. delegation is actively working with Members of the European Parliament and their teams to discuss key legislations for our sectors, including the Detergents Regulation, the reclassification of ethanol, the Green Claims Directive and the upcoming REACH revision.
Many fruitful meetings and exchanges are taking place to ensure that the cleaning and hygiene industry continues to innovate while safeguarding consumer safety. The outreach was also an opportunity to present the sector to several new MEPs.
A.I.S.E. is dedicated to ensuring that the industry’s voice is heard, advocating for balanced regulations that drive innovation and helping to shape policies that support a sustainable and competitive future for our sector.
