A.I.S.E joining other industry associations to call for thoughtful and science-based reuse policies in the transport packaging sector

A.I.S.E. is joining forces with 17 other organisations to voice their serious reservations about the ongoing negotiations on Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

They call on the co-legislators to consider their recommendations, to ensure a balanced approach that promotes packaging circularity without compromising transport safety: reuse obligations for transport packaging to be applied by 1 January 2030 providing economic operators the time necessary to develop the new systems to meet the targets set under the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
